MetLife Cycling’s official season begins!
Where: Marblehead, Massachusetts at the Michael Schott Memorial Circuit Race.
When: Sunday, April 5th, 2009. 11:00am.
How: About 100 racers will zoom around a short course on Marblehead Neck, a small island connected to the mainland by a long causeway. After 37 miles of pedals turning in anger, a winner will cross the line, arms raised, first winner of the New England season.
Why: Bike racing is fun and we love to do it.
If you’re in the area on Sunday, come see some exciting early season racing in Marblehead, Mass. Hopefully the sight of pasty white legs won’t scare potential fans off, but it is supposed to be nice weather and those leg warmers may just be coming off!
